Comments:
The Thurmaston War Memorial has recently been cleaned by the Parish Council. Sandfield Primary and Roundhill Academy worked together on a Conditions Survey. The stone was clean with no moss and the lettering clear. The railings surrounding the memorial had recently been painted. An additional name had been skillfully added to the World War II names. The area was free of graffiti and rubbish. The pupils were all happy to see the memorial in such good condition and are proud of it.
