The lettering for two of the names is almost totally eroded, and partially eroded for some of the other names. The lettering on the dedication panel is showing signs of degradation. The stone around the kerbed base has been moved in places. The stonework generally needs to be refurbished. The wooden carved figure of Christ and the canopy roof above are in need of some care and maintenance.
