Having reviewed the photographs on this record, War Memorials Trust consider the memorial to be in Fair condition. The lettering is legible and there do not appear to be any repairs needed. The biological growth is also not causing any harm to the stonework. With regard to the name recently added to the war memorial, this is being dealt with by War Memorials Trust's Conservation Team as a concern and the charity are currently in discussions with Dartmoor National Park Authority regarding resolving the situation.
