Comments:
Prolonged exposure to traffic pollution has had a detrimental effect on the portland stone and inscriptions. The surrounding gardens are extremely dated, with poor access and slip trip and fall hazards. To properly honor the dead of World War One, there is a programme of conservation, refurbishment and redesign of the gardens that has been proposed by Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council.
