There has been subsidence to the base, probably some time ago, so the memorial is leaning towards the church, though it seems stable. I suspect that a previous attempt has been made at underpinning the base judging by the appearance of concrete underneath the base. Perhaps an up-to-date engineer's opinion might be best. Names are generally readable, but on the north face there is mould and it would best be cleaned as this face doesnt get the benefit of sunshine to help it keep clean of mould growth.
