Comments:
The memorial looks as though it has been cleaned fairly recently as the front of the memorial containing the inscriptions has had the green staining from the surrounding woodland removed although this is still evident on the edges and the rear. Although there is still some staining apparent, all inscriptions are fully legible. The slate memorial is located at the end of avenue of trees which are well maintained and next to the memorial two fairly new benches have been placed.
