Comments:
Some of the lettering is a bit flaky and bubbly on the edge. The stone behind the WWI lettering is quite dark which could be due to pollution from the lorries passing through the village. There was some moss and biological growth on the stone. Also some of the stonework on the base has crumbled and worn away. There are a few weeds around the memorial and some litter. It was noted that the litter may be there as a result of recent windy weather rather than people dropping it. Carried out by Oak Class (year 5/6) at Cockshutt C of E Primary School
