Comments:
The memorial is in a safe condition for visitors and attendance is still encouraged within the local and surrounding community. However, over a period of time the wooden structure which makes up the majority of the memorial has sustained some damage due to weathering and age. Some of the names at the base of the wooden inscriptions Roll of Honour has sustained some considerable damage and is no longer illegible. Also, water has ingressed into a number of areas of the structure which has resulted in shrinkage and wood rot. There are areas approaching the memorial where the ground is uneven, so care should be taken. These areas require to be levelled.
