Comments:
The war memorial is starting to sink into itself and the foundation is poor. Previous concrete repairs have allowed water to enter via the joints and might be one of the reasons for decay. The main central Cross is starting to lean backwards. There are some cracked supporting stones and the chain post rail concrete supports are weather blown. A report carried out on behalf of the Parish Council - has noted that the whole structure needs to come down to cleaned and repaired and a completely new footing laid to allow the old renovated structure to be reinstalled with new kerb and chain posts. .
