Comments:
The church was badly damaged in WW2, but a new building was built within the walls of the old. Eventually the congregation merged with the local Baptists and the Congregational Church building became a Montessori School. What became of the memorial is unclear - it might have been destroyed in the war, or it might have been moved to the Baptist Church, or it might still be attached to the original building. However IWM says it is Lost.
