6 February, 2013: The memorial was surveyed by Roy Branson and Alan Willmot. Although the inscription was legible the overall condition was assessed as poor. The grave lies in a neglected part of the cemetery overshadowed by a mature tree; a vase and part of the kerb surround had been disturbed and ivy was beginning to encroach on the headstone.
