1985 - 1999: MEMORIAL WAS LOST AT SOME POINT DURING THIS PERIOD. THE FACTORY CLOSED IN 1984/5 AND WAS LEFT DERELICT UNTIL IT WAS DEMOLISHED IN 1999. STOCKPORT CONSERVATION OFFICE SEARCHED THE BUILDINGS FOR ARTEFACTS BUT THE MEMORIAL HAD ALREADY DISAPPEARED
